The song is called "Dedicated," which gives us two explanations of the song which complement each other and appear to both be correct: one explanation which takes the SONG to be dedicated "Not only but especially for the ladies" and one which takes the BAND to be thus dedicated: "Not only but especially for the ladies: Mono Puff!"

    1. Say the SONG is dedicated ". . . to the ladies." Well, from the intro and closing section, the theme of the song is "games of the mind," which the intro begs someone to stop playing. A request in the intro of a song is generally taken for the message of the song, which, if the song is dedicated "not only but especially for the ladies," is of course specifically dedicated to them, too. The song is about Mind Games Played By Women. The song is negative about women.

    2. Say it is the BAND and NOT the song (or its message) which are here "dedicated" to the ladies. This explanation is even scarier than the previous one, because of the twist put on that word "dedicated" in the song's closing section, a section which raises the question of just who has done the "dedicating." The "dedicated friend" is someone who has been singled out unknowingly and unconsentingly for use in a callous experiment. The man is "dedicated" only in the sense of "designated," "appropriated," "assigned for use" (as in "these funds are dedicated to this project"): the man has not dedicated himself, but has BEEN dedicated, as property is. Thus the speaker feels no qualms about the mind game he/she is playing. He/she uses "dedicated friend" quite naturally, quite easily, and the ease with which he/she uses it is all the more noticeable because it's an awkward phrase. That it's so easy for the speaker to call his/her victim "dedicated" is all the more chilling. If the men of Mono Puff (this song WAS recorded and released (on EP) in days before Sister-Puff's involvement) are dedicated "especially for [(and note the word is not 'to' but "for")] the ladies," this means that they are regarded by the ladies (and have been designated by the ladies) as the ladies' property for use in any callous project whatsoever.
